I'm divorced and struggling to keep my home. My home is all I have. My employer took away employee benefits including medical benefits and affordable insurance a few weeks before Christmas. I am currently working 7 days a week in sales, but do not receive a salary. I also work part time as a care giver. I am hoping that someone can find it in their heart to help. My husband told me two days before our last child of 5 was graduating..that he had a affair with my best friend......but before he told me ..we brought her into our home to live for 3 years ..I took care of her child..and cleaned up after her..she was a slob..I felt sorry for the child..but she also had been my friend for 30 years....she and her boyfriend spent the night with us on our wedding night at a resort in town here....then he told me I was no longer his obligation..we had been married for 29 years...I always have been a good wife ..taking care of raising children and doing whatever I could so he could have his business...he did what he wanted and I stayed home to be a good wife and mother ..currently one of my children is studing to be a doctor..so it shows I did a good job..I'm sure...but in all my work..I am now left with no formal education..and my life I spent with someone is over..all those years wasted ..to be left...MY story is no different than alot of people I am sure ..but I can't support myself ...and he abondoned me..I am trying to work ..but who wants a housewife of 29 years in the boardroom..I am not dumb..just uneducated in anyway that makes a difference in todays world...will someone please help me...I am lost...

Yes this is my real name ( famous name) but I am not a famous person. I have 3 children and a single mother after 22 years. I live in La and I have a job but i am still poor. Between rent and the kids I don't even have money for food. I tried the foodstamp system and guess what Imake to much money for that ha ha. I had a car until my ex-borrowed it and totalled it. I had insurance but guess what I did not pay the full price for the car but I did purchase GAP insurance ( please get this if you buy a new car) . I had 2 jobs just last night I had to quit my second job ( i was a paper carrier ) in short words a paper girl > My day went as follow at 2:30 am would get up wrap papers and throw them this lasted until 5:30 am went home got my daughter up toi get ready for school ( 14 honor student)  then 1 hour later get my youngest son up to go to school. After he leaves get my oldest up which  is 18 to go to school yes he is in college and it is costing me an arm and a leg. But anything for my kids. I then get ready to my main job which is from 9-6pm. get home around 6:30 and start cooking if we have anything, or bring something home.  then help my 11year old with ome work it is about 9:30pm go to sleep and wake up for the new day. Now I have no car and no second job. I signed a contract with the news paper and i lost 800 this month in pay. I will not get paid for the month because I quit, I tried renting a car costed me 436.00 for 9 days then I asked someone to do the route for me which cost 55.00 a day to use a sub. try getting another car no Downpayment can't get a car my creidt is perfect. Iam going to try working at a hotel on the over night shift to make ends meet. But is thier is anyone out there that can help me with a little cash 1.00 would be helpful anything just to help me out . I don't have one of those stories where something is wrong with me or my kids ( thank GOD for that ) but i really need HELP once again anything will help.

If you are uninsured and are unable to afford coverage for your family, you may be able to qualify under your state's CHIP program. This is a program specifically designed to cover uninsured children in most states of the USA. It is a combined federal and state program. As I understand it, there are no pre-existing condition exclusions under the programs, so your children could continue to receive treatments and they would be covered by CHIP. I know of a money-making opportunity for people in the Philadelphia Metro Area..  I know it's for real because I do it!  You can make $11 per hour as a  call center representative.  You just need to have an Accident & Health Insurance License in PA, speak clearly and have basic computer skills.  Licensing is not a big deal, you have to take a course and a test. I believe that I paid around $300 all inclusive.  They provide training, additional state lisences and Contining Education at no cost. You work with Seniors, helping them out with their Medicare.  The job is in Blue Bell PA. They are VERY flexible about hours and are open from 8am-10pm.

Dear Mr. Silverman, I have a 1962 Seattle World's Fair Plaque. It is black, with a raised scene of the city of Seattle in a gold color. It is round and meant to hang, it has the hook on the back. I do not know if it is worth anything, but it belonged to my grandmother. I also have a 1913 Red Letter Edition Holy Bible. I just wanted to know if these items would be of value?

Dear Friends, At first I was hurt by your comments, as I am an honest man and a legitimate dealer. But given all of the things you have been through, I can't blame you for being skeptical. My store in Georgia was called "The Eccentric Collector." The web address is www.tecwdm.com. If you took your items to a local coin shop (assuming that you have one), they might be fair and they might not. They will likely pay less than I would as they have much higher expenses since they have a store. I have made MANY purchases via the mail, with payment going out within 48 hours. Additionally, most coin shops will not buy stamps and many of the other items I buy. When I receive a lot of collectible, my offer is for ALL of them - not just select items that I cherry pick from the lot. As far as appraisals go, I don't do them - except when someone needs an appraisal for insurance purposes. I just look at the lot and quote a FAIR price. For formal appraisals, I charge $100 an hour. If anyone does need a formal written appraisal, they can always contact me. One of you asked why I can't just go by pictures of the items. The reason for this is that a large part of the value of a coin, stamp or other collectible is CONDITION and whether or not it is GENUINE. Both of these things have a massive influence on value. This did sound sincere UNTIL he asked for the person to send the collectable to him to see if it was worth something. He could have just asked for pictures. What are the odds that he would send the item back ? You can go to someone local and find this information out without sending something that may be of value to a person that just 'claims ' to be a professional. What was the name of the store in Georgia ? Is he listed on any sites that have coin and stamp items and are professional sites ? Mr. Silverman , if you are real , you have to furnish more proof.We would be fools to send you an item to appraise. soulight

I have always worked, and always thought I would work until I hit the golden years.  Since my stroke I can no longer work.  It took 19 months to get Social Sercurity to kick in and by the time the back pay hits your bills have added so much in intrest and other charges that it covers about half of what you owe.  Every month is a struggle to pay the rent and buy food for the kids, much less much else.  I'm not sure what I'm looking for, I would just like to see a light at the end that's not headlights of an oncomming truck.  Maybe someone out there has been through this and knows someway to help me and my family.  Last year's Christmas was very slim I wanted this one to be better.
